How to Wear Pastels for Fall...without looking like an easter egg

If that is a question then my response is - Ahh Bien Sur! once you have picked you two favorite tones mine is mint and ballet slipper pink follow the three simple rules to chic...

1) Avoid getting bitten by little kids and not looking like Cotton candy on a stick by adding an earthy accessory that is more rich and earthy in tones, case in point this cloche in a rich merlot tone. It breaks the monotony of powdery tones without clashing, in fact it is also great to balance neons, wait you already knew that!

 2. Pastel in the day time calls for a casual look so keep it simple with vibrant flats, a jewel toned necklace, and neon belt, picking highly pigmented colors to break the pastels is so much more fun than doing flesh toned accessories.

3. Draw focus on your eyes by smoking them up, pastel makeup on the eyes would get too matchy-matchy, so line your inner rim and lash line with a soft smoky kohl pencil and blend blend blend away!

Now jump for joy you are an expert at wearing pastels for fall...are you inspired to mix pastels in your fall wardrobe too? do tell....
